What you can do some split testing on is uploaded smaller resolutions of your images which have your website name at the bottom or even the center of the image. You could also do something like Download Full Resolution Image (then give your site name) on the image it's self. Then what I would do is upload those using a custom bot.

Something I've done before on a similar site is to compile a large list/gallery on imgur of your best wallpapers and then submit this link to Reddit's wallpaper sub-editors for instant traffic.

With this I saw 8,000 hits in the space of 4 hours to my site which resulted in around 208 signups to a mailing list.

Why's this work? It works simply because your posting the content in a high traffic area where people are looking for it. Posting a list of images makes it become a resource and its often bookmarked especially if they save a wallpaper from the list and use on their desktop or phone.

Over time if you repeated this you would see steady reddit traffic or even see this becoming your main source of traffic and revenue.
