Do you know how reddit work? How comment karma and link karma count increase in reddit?

    Reddit is a great way to get some traffic to your links, sites, etc. But it is a community first. Redditors are more tech savy than the average joes. This means they are more sensitive to anything that seems spammy.

    The best way to use reddit is to blend in as part of the community. Learn the way the site works, how the users communicate with each other. Then participate, and be active. No promos at first. Just be a regular member. Then once you start getting the feel for it, you can sprinkle in some of your own links.

    As for karma. each link you submit can be voted up, or down. the more votes you get the more karma you recieve.

    This applies to your comments as well.

    About link karma : When you post any link on reddit and some one upvote your link then you get one link karma*.

    About Comment Karma : same as if you comment any post on reddit and someone like your comment you will get one point. Remember if some dislike your comment and down vote it, You loose one comment karma. Comment karma may be in negative points also. So be careful before commenting.
