Facebook Ads + Amazon affiliate

You can not link directly from Facebook Ads to Amazon. It is against their T&S.
You can direct traffic from FB to your website or to a landing page related to that product page..
I will try to do a case study about that if you are interested in..

Sorry, but who's T&S is it against? I read if you purchase a Facebook Ad, you are able to use that link as an affiliate link to a product. I spoke directly with an Amazon representative a few weeks ago and they said that any sort of affiliate promotion is allowed, so I doubt that Facebook Ad would against anyone's terms and services.

My answer was :
You can not use the url in the facebook Ads links directly to Amazon page of that item.
You can use affiliate links in your fan page ..

Can someone please clarify this. I was making a Facebook post with an afilliate link. I was then promoting the post with an ad. I was told on here I could not do this. I has seen others do this. Can someone please sent me straight here? Thanks

You can do that but you have to list that fan page in your amazon associate account first...

I saw today 2 ads. from a 1,2 million likes fb page, which advertised a crap gadget (affiliate) from amazon. So I wonder, why he/she doesn't get banned.

It is sorry you are not allowed to bring Amazon affiliate links to FB ads due to their rules.
You are allowed to drive FB traffic to your website.
Moreover, as i know, FB ads prohibits some kind of affiliate links due to FB rule as well

Hi Steven,
You can run FB Ads to your website or to your fan page but you can not run it directly to Amazon....
You need to have a website or a page that you control ...no direct linking...
It is like Google Adwords .. but you can have an affiliate site and run traffic to it via FB Ads....otherwise FB will not make money that way...

I have contacted Amazon and have yet to get a straight answer. Please help. I want to put a picture of something on Facebook and say this is cute, find it here... (affiliate link). Can I advertise this? Thank you
