So I spoke with someone who said he targets a certain group of people and sells them a certain kind of product and he does extremely well from it.

Does anyone know how that can be done?

    Another idea would be to do a survey of your own. Compile the top 3 target keywords for his niche and do a search for them across 5 top large cities. See if there is a critical mass of other people also marketing that product who post frequently and consistently. Sort of like doing a competitive analysis. Most people wouldn't go to the trouble to post for over a month unless they were seeing results.
