The fact depend on your marketing skill. If you are strong in marketing specially online marketing, You can do better and better in any product. So develop your marketing skill first .

You need to do a bit of research, I would recommend you take a bit of time to do some in depth research

Type in the product you are trying to sell,

Have a look through the results and when searching websites personalise the results as much as you can , if you can have your search results organised by most popular and take note of what you find including the price, reviews and any keywords you notice in the sales copy. This should give you an idea of what sells well and if you take notice of the customer reviews you will find they tell you exactly what they wanted to buy and what they like/don't like.

I scour Amazon and read all the good and bad reviews of products that are similar to mine. It is a goldmine of free customer research and helps you deliver the perfect product to your niche.

Start building your following on social media, if you can photograph yourself wearing a popular design or give a few it to friends and ask them to do the same. You swill soon tell by the number of likes and comments you receive from your social media following what is hot and what is not.
