So, I have gotten 18,000 organic facebook likes in 7 days, advice please?!?!

So I have been running a blog for a couple of years now. I don't make much, maybe $500 a month on it. I have been really wanting that number to grow a couple of zeroes, so I have been focusing on the blog's facebook fan page. I haven't paid a dime for likes or fans, I just have been posting content and videos and it is getting shared and no joke in the last 7 days I have grown from 2k likes to 20,000 likes, all organic. I just hit the 20k mark about 10 minutes ago. Also have had a 9,900,000 post reach this week.

I know if you have a FB with millions of fans, you can basically create traffic on demand for your blog. One competitor of mine has 4.5 million fans on their facebook page and they are making thousands of dollars per day.

Now I am not seeing any return financially yet, obviously, but please advise on best course of action. Should I keep pumping my time and effort into the fan page? Can I expect exponential increase in fans now that more fans are liking the page? Is 18k likes in a week an anomaly, or is that common these days? Keep in mind I do this on the side and I am the only one working on this
