Advice on differentiating content between Facebook, Twitter and a blog

I'm starting a Facebook, Twitter and blog marketing campaign to market a new project.
My question is should the content overlap on the platforms, should it be completely independent or should it be some combination in the middle.

I typically post the same content on Facebook as twitter. It is just modified to fit twitter's format. Is this the right move?

Should the blog content be completely independent or should it overlap with the Facebook and twitter content. Or again, should it be somewhere in the middle?

Thank you very much in advance for the advice.

You really should test different methods, otherwise, how would you know if one way worked better than the other?

Yes, you should definitely try different combination and find the best strategy that works for you. I suggest create interesting and quality content on blogs and make your facbook and twitter post relevant to your blog. Connect your blog with twitter and facebook.
