First Time Boosting a Post on Facebook--Results Good or Bad?

Hello!

So I don't normally do Facebook but I recently created a Facebook page for one of my websites. It's a not for profit site.

Anyway, I spent 20 bucks boosting a page and it got 27 post likes, 1 comment and 5 shares. Is that good or no?

I think I could do better if I used a better picture, but should I have expected more? I'm just trying to create some popularity for the site.

Thanks

Yes it seems good for an start but you have to make changes to your post all the time to attrack more and more people to visit to your page and like it.

What product you are selling over there?

I'm not selling anything. It's a personal project I've been working on for a year now.

I'm guessing the best way to get the most people to click on a boosted page is to have an awesome photo that will encourage that click.

Idk, I really don't know much about how the Facebook thing works. Just hopping it will work better than AdWords. Cuz AdWords was a waste.

I sell jewelry and I got more likes and shares just by putting better picture and title. Sale is magic word for women For second promoted post I got more than 100 likes. But my post was localised to a specific area.

It's not bad for a start. Shoot for between .40 - .70 per engagement. If you do better than that it is really good. But that range is about the normal right now. At least for now unless prices rise.

Who did you target? And, how many likes did you have already before boosting your facebook post? With this data in place, I can help.

Facebook has been a tool to connect all the people around the world, creating good Groups and finding new people getting good friends to interact with requires time . But once you get in to new group of network Friends then you are in to the system of promoting business..

I think someone once said that boosting a page / post was like paying the "stupid tax"

Clearly don't remember the exact phrasing, but I agree on their point.

There's much better ways to get results on FB than boosting a page...

And your numbers / lack of "results" prove that.
