Facebook campaign for school - ads not working

Hello Warriors!

I run the Facebook campaign for primary and secondary school for a few months now and I have a problem with advertisements encouraging to like the fanpage. The audience that works well in two other campaigns (sponsored posts and ads directing to website), doesn't collect many likes and I have to pay a lot of money for one like.

We have changed audiences, graphics, content, but with no effects. Is it possible that ads encouraging to like are not suitable for school fanpage? Do you think I should resign from it?

I will appreciate any help, idea and opinion. Greetings from Poland!

Without knowing anything at all about the ads themselves (creatives, wording, audience, etc), it's impossible to provide any feedback at all. Anyone who tries to give you feedback either doesn't know what they are talking about or is "winging" it.

In my honest opinion, you really don't have to encourage people to like your ads. Seriously, it's for the people to decide.

What you need to do to is to gather informative facts to post and make sure that you are true to your words.

What information are you sharing in the ad?

Put yourself in the shoes of your target audience: are you getting enough information to want to click the like button?
