facebook ads account flagged ?

Ok, so this is not really a 'strategy' question...

I was about to start advertising on fb, but after creating my first ad I got the following error pop up:
Please go to Ads Manager to add a payment method to your ad account. Once you add a payment method, click the refresh button to continue uploading your ads.

But when I try to add the payment method (which I think I've done before anyway) I got another error:
Your ads account has recently been flagged because of unusual activity. For security reasons, any ads you're running will be paused until you can confirm your account information by contacting Facebook.

Of course I've tried to contact fb / submit a ticket, but without any response.

Has this happened to someone else too ? What can I do about this ?

    I'm sorry to break it to you but the chance of you restoring this account is close to zero.

    Most people would say "you must have done something wrong or shady, submit a ticket, be nice, bla bla bla..." which means they haven't experienced how erratic and unresponsive FB is.

    They take ages to respond - I was spending 1k-2k a day on FB ads and got the same error one day and tried all avenues to restore it but couldn't.

    You' d be better of starting a new account, make sure to use a different computer and internet connection, and also a different card. Basically no associations with your previous account.

      was just about to create a new account, but there a few issues..

      When I want to link the ad to my fb page, I'd need to make that 2nd account an owner (with my original fb account) - and would need to add the 2nd account as a friend too in that case.
      Which makes it already kind of obvious. Or is this not an issue ?

    This happens a lot! In most cases, it's due to violation Facebook's TOS. Anyway, just move on and create another account. Make sure that you'll be using a new payment method / credit card. In other words, you can't use the same paypal account or credit card associated with your flagged facebook account.

    Even if I open a different account, can I still link it to my business page / get clicks to the same website as before ?

      Yeah you can link it to the page and website etc.
      As for customer support, you only get that if you are spending a lot of money on Facebook.

      I wouldn't recommended use same website and link same fanpage .
      You need to farm new fb account or look for an aged one to open ad account .

    Just an update.. I am actually getting response from fb, very slow though - and the answers are just bs. Always asking me for more and more verification.
