After 1 month and 4 days, only 130 likes. Biggest social media fail ?
Hello dear warriors, I am from morocco, and I would like to ask you about something.
I recently created a travel company approximately one month ago, I organize trips every weekend, So far I managed to take two trips, but only with mouth to mouth marketing, all of the clients are from my school. Obviously I can't just rely on my school to get clients because if someone go in a trip, 95% of the time he won't go for another month or so.
The first thing that poped in my head was Facebook so I created a Facebook page and started to post events "Trips" on there with the complete program, and I posted images and video from our first trips, plus polls asking them what are the best places to go, and images and videos from nice places in morocco. So far after a month and 4 days the page is still only at 130 likes
My main competition has more than 160,000 likes. And I offer lower prices and better quality than him.
I post events in a lot of groups that I join, right now I'm in 150 groups and I post in most of them even so nothing happens, my posts reach maximum 49/60 without me posting in groups, if I post in groups it reaches 250/400. Maybe you can advise me of what I can do or something that I'am doing that I shouldn't.
One more thing, I thought of creating a website to sell tickets online, but my company's name is already taken and a slightly changed one that I can use with no prob is also taken. The problem is that it's taken but not in use. What should I do ? Will using a domain name different from my name affect me in anyway ? If so what should I do ?
p.s: Morocco is not much of a technology aware country as the US so keep that in mind.
