Any Other Social Sites Similar and As Popular As Facebook

I was just wondering if the whole world is hooked on Facebook when it comes to social media, or are there other sites to step outside the box. Like a place for business owners but is not LinkedIn??

    Yes you could try Linkedin but it has few user compared to facebook.

    Facebook is widely known unlike linkedin where only few people are aware or familiar with the site.

    Well it's not mainly about user numbers. It's about targeting options. Your audience can be quite narrow sometimes, reaching just few hundred people a day but very targeted. But yes, you also need a big user base if you want to target it hard.

    There is actually 2 social network sites similar to Facebook that actually pays it's members. So that is also probably why Facebook is fading away a good deal. I know I spend more time on the ones that pays me then I do on facebook a site that makes billions off of our content and shares none of it. If you think about it, it really is a shame that facebook has been around and made as many billions as it has from our efforts, and yet has still not shared anything. So if you want to know the 2 social network sites that actually pays us for our efforts then PM me for details. It's time we started getting paid for all the content and effort we put out every day.

    Pinterest is also good in social media marketing. It's the same as facebook. It's easier to gain followers and likes. You could also easily meet new people with the same interest as yours.

    I know there are other social media platforms that are similar to Facebook but Facebook has the most users/subscribers so I guess the best way to do marketing is with them. You can use LinkedIn or Instagram perhaps, but you can't really make use of links on Instagram.

    Why don't you use Twitter. It is one of the popular sites among others. As Twitter contains celebrity profiles, it helps to push your business info up to them and helps to engage them in certain topics which usually seen in trend. A good and interesting post can help you to make your business viral. Wait, if will be effective only when it is of use for the people otherwise people will overlook it.
