Twitter Followers

Hey guys anyone else had this problem? I joined Twitter about 3 days ago and have since gained about 400 followers which is good! However, most of them are actually people who are attempting to market their stuff to me, and not be interested in visiting my site, reading my tweets! lol anyone else notice this?

Any way to get real consumers?

      Be very careful with this kind of services. Many are using bots to create fake users.

    Twitter can be tricky.

    I disagree with the buying followers. It will just be a number and nothing more. They won't be interested in what you have to offer or what you're promoting. If you just want to make it appear your twitter page is more popular than it actually is, then by all means, buy followers but I feel it's a huge waste of money.

    If you create content that people actually find useful and enjoy, then slap a 'follow me on twitter' button on it. This way, you will pick up organic and real followers. It's definitely a very slow process, but this is the kind of follower you want. Then, make sure you are tweeting out all your newest and best content on a consistent basis.

    Twitter is good if you have free content to give to others but this will not make you any money.

    You want to learn how to market online and get people subscribing to your list. People on Twitter have the same goal as you and that is to get people visiting their site or buying something off their affiliate link.

      You have just hit on something about twitter marketing and you might not even know it.

      You just explained the object of marketers on twitter. The marketers on twitter have the same goals in mind. They want to use twitter to generate leads.

      Knowing this is very important. If you know what they want, then all you need to do is give them what they want.

      So...To convert your followers to subscribers or sales then you need to promote something that will help them do exactly that.

      Simply put...give the people what they want.

    They are all good consumers. When you are finding people to follow are you following people who already have a business or are you following their followers?

    Buying followers is a fool's errand. Pointless.

    This isn't exactly all that complicated. Tweet interesting stuff. Some percentage about your business. Some about other stuff you're interested in.

    Then, find consumers on Twitter. Follow them. Some will follow back. Some won't. Unfollow the one's whom don't.

    If you see people following brands that are in similar niche's, start with that list and go from there.

    Look, there isn't a pay $5 and some automated program is going to do it for you, Twitter takes some work, but it's isn't mind numbing like some of the other parts of IM can be.

    Don't rely on Twitter to get sales immediately. The best thing that you can do is give you unorthodox form of content (video), and then let them visit your site for a freebie/sign up form capture. Social media doesn't convert the best, but it still works. Don't focus on it a lot. Focus on how you can get more immediate traffic with paid advertising.

    I use 2 tools for twitter:

    Roundteam - automatically retweets tweets by everyone, your followers or people you follow. I set at 10 retweets per hour per account. I have around 6 accounts. You pay like $10/mo which is dirt cheap.

    Crowdfire - I have premium account and it allows me to quickly follow those who follow me. It also automatically sends DM to people. I just send them to my FB fan page and I am getting some people joining it.

    I also have some experience in buying followers. I would NOT recommend it.

    Buying follower is waste of money. Non targeted also.

    I use some free or paid tools for gain my targeted followers & results id great. Got 800 followers in 15 days & earned $60 with 3 sell.

    Just try with real deal. Twitter is good for marketing.

    To get good on twitter (if it's your target platform) you have to get into the tweeter mindset, not the sales mindset, provide them with some good content and stuff they can relate to so that they share. Easy.

    Now about the other market accounts who follow you, just ignore them, perhaps if you're interested you might try to partner with a couple of them, but overall it's not that bad as long as they follow you, more number on your following count = more authority

    Hey guys bad news.... Twitter banned me LMAO! after gaining 6000 followers. More than likely it was because my content was not good citizen type stuff! perhaps ill create a different account with a different focus,

    1 real follower worth is more than million fake followers and 1 targeted follower worth is more than thousands random followers!

    So, try to get targeted followers otherwise you should not get visitors to your site.

    This is analogous to a 'fly by' clicker on Fb that comes to your page and likes a post or the actual page and then is gone forever, so while the number of likes on your page might be high, you aren't making any money from your site.

    You can start by screening applicants on Twitter before adding them (this will take some time) but also check to see if they are on other venues like fb, Instagram, etc. This might indicate they are a real person to connect with.
