Have you used Facebook's Remarketing Feature Yet?

Wouldn't you say that a person who has already visited your website in the past is a high potential lead and is more likely to buy into your idea or products? With Facebook's Custom Audiences feature, you can remarket your website to users who have already visited it. Specifically show them ads on Facebook that will help to re-engage them and perhaps convince them to make that big purchase that they were previously indecisive about.

As with other business tools that Facebook has to offer marketers, the Website Custom Audiences feature is a powerful tool if you know how to use it just right. Here, let me show you ways in which you can use the remarketing feature so that you can get a better return on your investment
What is Website Custom Audiences?
The Custom Audiences feature provided by Facebook is powered by Facebook Pixel. When you add Facebook Pixel on your website, anyone visiting it can then be categorized into specific audience types depending on how you want to work it.
For example, say a person has visited the men's health section on your website. You know this because you were able to define a custom audience of people who had visited that specific section on your site. You can then run an ad campaign that will specifically target these people and show them men's health product ads. This will help to remind users of what they saw on your site and possibly get them to buy similar products when they are released.
How to use it to your advantage?
There are several ways in which you can use this remarketing feature to your advantage:
· 1. Target people who haven't visited your website in a while: You can easily do this by taking a look at everyone except people who have visited your site in the past week or month. You can then set an ad campaign that reminds you about the great products on your site and why they should visit it again.
·
2. Target similar audiences: You always want to expand your fan base, so why not create a lookalike audience that is similar to the one that usually visits your site? Facebook allows you to remarket not just to people who have visited your site, but also to people who have similar likes and dislikes to those who have expressed interest in your products in the past.
·
3. Forgot to buy something? If you have users who have abandoned a shopping cart halfway through a purchase, you can use Website Custom Audiences to target them as well, and this time use some creative messaging so that they want to complete their purchase this time around.

Setting it up is easy. Add the Facebook Pixel to your site. Then, use the Create Custom Audience feature to choose specific criteria for the audience that you wish to target. Name it, describe it, select 'all website visitors' or 'people visiting specific pages' and choose no of days for the retargeting campaign. That's it!

If someone visits your website after clicking on a Facebook advert, they may not always complete an action such as making a purchase or giving you their contact information. One great way to remarket to them is by using your Facebook pixel, formerly known as the Custom Audience pixel, to create a Custom Audience from your website. It'll help you:
Bring website visitors back to complete a purchase
Find new customers who are similar to your website visitors
Get more value from new customer acquisition campaigns by excluding existing customers
    Create audience
