Basically I can only afford $5.00 per post. Essentially, in a days span, this will reach 390-1000 people.

Is there a trick to making my boosted post reach 1,000 people more so than the 390?

    The idea behind a boosted post should be to create engagement. That way, you will get a lot of free organic reach due to people sharing, commenting, tagging etc. We normally get 3-4x more free organic reach on a post compared to the paid reach but you can easily get to 10x if the post gets traction.

    So you basically need viral content but to see if it has potential you have to get eyeballs on it which if you don't have a popular page can only be done by boosting.

    If you dont have so much money to invest in ads, you need to make sure your content is extremely appealing to the public, the engagement you can get through that will help you boost the ad.
