Quick question : i am starting a channel soon but i have content on different topics eg cars and gaming, is it better to create separate channels for cars and gaming or just create different playlists on one channel.

I'd advertise on other visual platforms first. For example, with vine and Instagram videos you're already capturing an audience that likes videos and visual stimulus over other types of content.

First of all, you need to give your YouTube viewers a reason to follow you on social media, and that means giving them unique content that they won’t get anywhere else. It also means that you need to avoid posting too much repeat content across different social media platforms. Also, don't forget to link your playlist in your bio.

Create content so good that viewers feel compelled to share it with people they know. Social media will (usually) be the vehicle they'll use to do that.

Find places where people who are interested in things related to your videos and share your videos there, and don't stop doing it. Use Facebook, Twitter, Stumbleupon, Reddit, Pinterest, Google+ for promoting your YouTube channel.

Create great titles
What’s one of the first things you look at when deciding whether or not to watch a YouTube video? The answer to this is most likely the title of the video. Short and to the point
