How do I target businesses specifically on Facebook??

I don't have a clue. How do I target businesses on Facebook? How can I just reach the business only? I don't want to add groups and friends until I have established a good relationship with the business. I cant just send email because of the strict SPAM laws. So how do I entice the businesses to visit my facebook page, which will a Landing Page and a ton of info. My only problem is, how do I target them specifically

Are you a business owner? What is the purpose of bringing these businesses to your facebook page? If your looking for B2B marketing, Linked In would probably be a better option for you depending on what you are trying to accomplish. But the link provided is a video on how to target business owners, or companies of varying size. Hopefully this helps you with what you are trying to accomplish. FB can get quite expensive if you are just trying to get your information in front of businesses, once they see the information what action are you hoping they will take? I would seriously look into Linked In, creating a page for yourself, and trying the business services option.

I am opening a local business directory. My niche is the beauty industry, nails, hair salons, barbers, beauty supply stores, boutiques etc...

So I know my market and I know who to target. See here is my plan, so tell me if I am going about this the wrong way. My directory is being built as we speak, I am using a wordpress theme called listify. Here is an example of how it will look but of course I am not using burgers....Find the Best Local Burgers | Best Hamburgers Near You

I can't just send random emails because I will get flagged for SPAM. I didn't know it was that serious, they can even flag your ISP address and that's not good. So how can I convince businesses to come to my FACEBOOK page, read my information and join my emailing list. The problem is getting my information to them so they can come to my site. Someone said in a later post, that I can target the admin of specific owners.

I don't know what to do. Do I just build the page and target potential customers and owners. What do I do

You can target people who say they work at that business. If it is in their profile you can target those people at that business.

I haven't needed to target a specific business yet so I don't have any stats to tell you how effective it could be.

I agree with the above post if you really want to target a specific business LinkedIn may be better to reach the top people in that business.

With Facebook ads there's a targeting option that allows you to target admins of small business Facebook pages.

You can remove the behavior, maybe owners browsing Facebook are not in buy more. But if a marketers/manager/worker sees it he might think your ad is a good idea and share it with the boss.

You may also want to consider getting a premium LinkedIn account and reaching out to people directly . There are some great tools and strategies to use on LinkedIn to generate interest. Use it for networking, the same way as if you were in a room of people int the industry in terms of how you would approach them.

    1. Use LinkedIn searches (or their ad targeting tool) to identify title variations to use in your Facebook targeting.

    2. You can also target people on Facebook based on their employer, if their are large business consulting firms or networks, you could enter the company names to reach current employees.
