I have one question does Facebook messenger charge you for texting somebody from any other country like I live in Texas but I family member in Mexico City

    If you're simply messaging someone on the app - no, it will not charge you. If you are unsure about calls and texts and would prefer this to FB messaging, I would recommend Whatsapp.

    It won't charge you - it's an app. I also would suggest Viber or WatsApp, or even WeChat is good.

    Not at all. It will use Wifi or your mobile internet which may incur a charge, but that's all.

    It reminds me of a funny story, I used FaceTime to call my mum who's in another country a couple of weeks ago; when we connected, she asked if I wanted her to call me back for the sake of my phone bill

    Modern day communication has changed so much, it's hard to keep up with it all!
