I purchased a program, SocioBoom Lite and was sent the log in details by the company. When I went to log in with the password they sent me I could not log in. I said wrong log in details. I tried many times and then I tried to change my password but that did not help either.
I sent a request to their support to get some help with my password and nothing happened. I sent two more emails with no replies.
To try to get some action I filed a dispute with Paypal about my purchase of SocioBoom Lite hoping that maybe the company would get back to me to see what the problem was.
The company got back to me alright, they must have got a dispute notice from Paypal because my account was deleted immediately. No can we help you resolve this, no offer to help me with my password issues. Nothing not even a reply before I recieved the email that my account was deleted by the administrator.
If this is how they treat potential customers I don't need to deal with them

    potential customers
You aren't a 'potential customer' - but an 'unhappy customer' who filed a complaint against them. That can cause them problems and they will not work you after you've done that unless you remove the complaint. Not unusual.

Keep the complaint and try to get a refund (might happen - might not) or remove it and hope they will help you (same thing).

You don't say how long you waited for help or what time frame the 3 emails to support were (hours? days? weeks?).

Paypal complaint should your LAST option if you are unhappy and want a refund and can't get your money back....

Please do not 'release balloons' for celebrations. The balloons and trailing ribbons entangle birds and kill wildlife and livestock that think the balloons are food.

      Hi there,

Yes, maybe a refund from Paypal could help solve the problem, but it is surely not certain you can get it.

Aruddick when did you purchased the SocioBoom and When did you applied for a refund?

See I too handle a business and I understand its our first priority to reply emails of clients maybe due to weekend's or festivals they can expect a bit delay.

You should wait atleast 3-4 days and then file a refund if you don't get a response. Now since its a digital product you have most chances to win the dispute still if you feel something give paypal a call and I think everything will be sorted out.
