Essential image creation tools for internet marketing!!

Social media has basically become a major visual -centric source for many internet marketers out there. Experts say that 75 % of the content will be video based by the end of 2017. That's some serious chunk!! Reason is pretty straightforward and it basically revolves around the concept of information retention. Our minds absorbs visual information for a longer period of time as compare to text based advertisement which is phenomenal and one of the important basics for marketers to realize.

Every start- up that dives into this market has a general idea about this concept but lacks the right tools to begin with. It takes time to become cheesy with these sources and therefore in this thread I will put forth a list of options to begin with.

1. Logo Garden

2. Recite

3. Pixlr

4. Flaticon

5. Google Drawing

6. Jing

7. Smilebox

How many of these you guys have tried out and which one you think stands out as an excellent contributor to your marketer campaign. Share your views and enlighten us with your experience.

Cheers-James

I second that. Canva is good. It is free. There are lots of tutorials. Lots of images and templates. What more can you ask?

I agree with michaelkoehler & 92 Sapphire Louise about Canva. It's the easiest to use and the free layouts are amazing. Since I have no graphic design training, I especially appreciated their free tutorial on Headline*Fonts for Impact. Finding a combination of fonts for headlines, sub-headlines, and text to use in one post used to be confusing for me.

Aside from Canva, you can also add befunky.com and pixteller.com on the list! For quick social media images, I also use pablo.buffer.com.

If you are not great with video editing, what tools would be easy to use to create gifs or just a short video?

GIPHY is a pretty decent tool in the market if you want to create Gifs right away.

Yeah! Canva is good one for image creation. Especially, it is ultimate to create social media images as it contains several social media templates. Apart from it you should give a try to:

    PicMonkey
    BeFunky
    Venngage
    magic.piktochart

I never knew that Reddit was also an image creation tool. That's weird.
