Facebook campaign not getting impressions

I just launched a new Facebook campaign. Facebook told me that my audience is pretty broad and my bid is $3 CPI (which seems pretty high for a free app).

Any advice on what I am doing wrong?

Thanks!

Have you used information on your target audience to refine your targeting? Going broad is okay for impressions, but most likely you'll be wanting your advert to be shown to people who are genuinely interested in your product/service - which usually means going smaller.

you should make many sub ad sets
    $2 each to start
try lots of interest as categories
    then wait 5 days MINIMUM
    then tweak
    repeat that process

You can also try a different approach. What we do (especially) if we are trying to define our audience. We will create a video and just do a "boost post" add. We usually pay .001 - .004 cents a view. Then we will run a website conversion ad retargeting the people who viewed our video.

This will help reduce your cost because they already had exposure to you and your app.
