YouTube White Hat or Black Hat...

Hi,

It seems like when people first starting out in Internet Marketing,
they want to find the right hack or the shortcut to build... let's say
a YouTube channel that makes a lot of money...

I was one of them too... but over the passing years I've learned that
it's difficult to build a sustainable recurring online business you can
count on... to bring you money by using hacks and short-cuts...

While it's quite tempting to use hacks to make a quick profit...

How many of you first starting out would rather buy one of the following courses?

( When I started I was attracted to option 1... I am curious if beginners think the same now,,, )

1. "How to make $1000 from YouTube in 30 days, making and ranking simple videos"

or

2 ."How to build a safe sustainable recurring YouTube Business in 6 months, ranking videos that makes people care"

Would love to hear your comments and what option you would take when starting out...

Thanks,

Best regards from
Ole Didriksen

Yes, cheating is for short term gains, but the problem is that you need to keep starting over.

I always took the slow and steady wins the race approach, and it seems to work.

Hard work and regular work on something always pay a way for success, easy paths are sometimes dangerous and cause losses in longer run of your business.

    1. Is definitely for newbie Phil.

    2. Is for me now. I don't really believe the hype of quick results, it's usually BS.

Even if something like that works, it seems like it will be banned or Google will be onto it before long.

    Screw that blackhat BS.

I would have picked option 1 too. But now after four years, I'll go with 2nd option.

Learn something in "30 days" would always be more attractive because of the human tendency for faster gratification. However, everyone who wanted to make money online eventually learns from experience that what is important is not the "information product" but whether or not you will USE WHAT YOU LEARNED CONSISTENTLY for more than 30 days or 6 months, of if you will quit before your youtube channel can be monetized.

#1 is also ideal because many people would just like to learn the fundamentals and get started fast and just learn what they need to know along the way.

Those two courses are different. The first implies that it will just offer a beginner course which can help you get running; while the 6 month course implies that after the beginner course, it will also discuss intermediate and advance concepts. I would actually be interested in the two kinds!
