Hello,

Can you create a facebook page that has a lot of engagement and its not selling anything.That has a lot of fans.And then rename it with the name of company and sell it to a company?How do you get FB to change the page`s name

    You can rename a page, but Facebook must approve the name change. It can't be deceiving from what the original page was about.

    For example you can't have a page about plants and then turn it into a page for selling furniture. It wouldn't look right and Facebook may not approve the name change.

      Yes, I think Facebook is keen on this. However, you can always try... I hope it bears successful results.

    No its not possible since while changing Name you cant use a new name for your Fanpage.
    Lets say your Fanpage was named as "WarriorForum" Now you can only rename it as "Warrior Forum" Or "Warrior Forum Official" or something like that

    You cant use an entirely new name for your Fanpage. You can still give it a try maybe they might approve your request.

    If 200 or more people like your Page, you must be an admin to submit a request to change your Page's name. If your request is approved, you won't be able to change your Page's name again. You can only change your Page's name once.
