Facebook Affinity when posting ads for another Page

So we're posting ads for a client using our own ad account, and I'm wondering where the affinity score is derived from in this case.

The client has made us a partner of their page but we're still using our ad account.

When we're developing an audience with our business manager account (which has multiple partners) and we're using power editor or any of the other tools, we're using an ad account that we created for this client but that ad account isn't in any explicit way tied to the page itself. So what data is facebook using to calculate affinity in this case?

The page hasn't been set for the ad as we're just creating the audience. The affinity scores are somewhat in line for the particular client, but what is facebook calculating those scores based on?!

Any and all help is much appreciated!!
