Hey, i have tried to drive traffic from reddit a few times with very little luck, had much better results from facebook and twitter though so it can't be a flawed campaign i am promoting, maybe i wasn't posting in the right sub reddit though.

Buying Reddit ads would is much easier than trying to spam subreddits

But you would still get some decent traffic even if you post an image related to the subreddit you are targeting. (Since most subreddits only allows images from certain sites).

Pretty simple actually - through Reddit ads.

Anything else is pretty much spamming. You could start a discussion thread and share some content, but this will be hard to scale up. Best to just buy Reddit ads to be honest.

Reddit ads are actually pretty incredible. I have had good success and they aren't very saturated.

For reddit it is easy to spam, but you will get banned quick and its really not a good way to make money unless you are VERY CREATIVE, and can think of a non spammy twist.

The best option with Reddit is to make a legit account, and post some cool / intresting stuff. If it is relevant to one of your niches, use it to send traffic there. Honestly its not a good place for typical marketing methods, do what the guys above said, or just use it slowly over time to add traffic.

    REDDIT?

Just share imgur pics, put description in it, link to your website, and share to a subreddit

Certain subs will require you to have a certain amount of karma before posting to prevent spamming.

Contribute in genuinely meaningful ways on Reddit. You'll figure it out.

If is difficult to get traffic from reddit forum. The most easier way is to use the advertisement to increase the traffic for your website but reddit provides paid advertisement and no one likes to pay for the advertisement.
Reddit hate spammers the most. It is better to only start with commenting in the beginning and comment on the forum daily. It is best not to add any links in the beginning because it will get you banned form the community.

They are very strict when it comes to spamming. I would engage in meaningful ways 99% of the time and somewhere you might try to sneak in some advertisement for yourself.

It also depends on your niche. A travel blogger with great photos will have an easier time that someone trying to sell stationary, for example.
