Hi guys, my question is:

With Facebook ads, what worked the most for you: Making ads about a single product or making ads for your global shop?

Thanks

I would recommend you to have your FB page leading to your FB page and then from it you can lead that to the single product.

    Thanks guys.

Because I'm new, I don't really know when I'll need to give up and say: "Ok my niche sucks and I spent too much cash in ads, I need to stop. Let's try another niche,"

    Hi,

I highly recommend you run ads as "like page", then you can post products on your page and reach your fan without spend any cost or you can run ads to target people who already like your page with very low cost.

Hi Anhvu! Yeah it's a good idea. Can you tell me what's your ratio "Product Ads"/"Interesting Post"? I wonder how much ads I can post before my "followers" start getting annoyed.

It is a good strategy, but how to attract real users who will like page?

  • I would also recommend ads for single products, with a very detailed targeting, this is very important, because if you dont accurately target your ads, they will just go everywhere.

I would also recommend to create a branding campaign with ads if your budget allows it, it will not get you any customers, but branding is very important, a good reputation is the better way for getting customers in the long term, keep that in mind.

Also, think about a good content strategy for complementing both things.

I'm trying different ads for now, and nothing really worked but facebook page like ads. I had like 250 "likes" with this. I'm gonna create a new thread so people can write and they first startup went cuz I feel like I'm not very good hahaha... In 1 week, I sold 3 items...

one of the suggestions would be to make ads for singular products as that way you can be very precise about the details and your ads will not end up everywhere and be annoying. secondly you can go for the creation of a campaign for branding. this may mean that you will have to spend some money but this step is really important for your business. you may see this as an expenditure now but this is going to get you long term customers. keep the content relevant and updated as well. a good content strategy also helps in the long run.
Also, keep your Product Ads/Interesting Post ratio well checked if you are going for a page. because if that is not done then the people who follow you on social media get annoyed by you and stop paying heed to your posts and some may even 'unlike' your page.

Their is something I don't understand. I'm paying a Facebook pub so I can get people to my Facebook page. The pub looks like this

And people don't actually buy. I mean, they went on this page to buy. Clearly.. So am I suppose to share interesting stuff or they want to see stuff to buy?
I got 350 likes with this ads and stil no sale haha

As said earlier that if you have enough budget you can go for global ads but if your budget is not that good you can easily get huge traffic through the single ads. Making use of social media platforms you can freely get huge traffic but there are paid ways also that can get the traffic quickly. It is totally your decision which idea better suits your business.
