Hello Warriors,

Hope some of you could share your insights and experience with Facebook Instant Articles. Who knows - This thread could turn out as a helpful resource for others who might be interested in using this for their mobile content publishing and social traffic generation campaigns ...

Have you heard of Facebook Instant Articles? Do you think this can benefit your content publishing and social traffic generation campaigns?

Here's a primer for those who haven't heard of this:

> Facebook Instant Articles allows you to convert your onsite content into optimized media rich mobile content.

> This version of your content will be hosted directly in Facebook.

> You can then share a link to the Instant Article version of your content in your Facebook page, in your Facebook groups and in other relevant Facebook pages.

> You can then promote or boost these posts via Facebook Advertising.

> Facebook also allows you to earn ad revenues. You can publish your own ads or Facebook adsin your Instant Articles - It's up to you.

Well, I learned about this last year, but I let it pass because I was doing many things with our multi-lingual call centers among other business stuff -- Now, I want to look closer at this again because I've managed to make things work at our centers and free up my time ...

Have you used this for your moble content publishing and social traffic generation campaigns? What was your experience?

Here's the initial results of HootSuite's tests a few months ago:

> When we hit the Publish button and shared an Instant Article link in a Facebook post, we noticed a difference right away.

> It was a post that we had originally published on our website and shared on Facebook several weeks prior.

> Compared to the previous post, in three days - The Instant Articles post exploded.

> It saw a:

* 37 percent increase in reach
* 22 percent increase in shares
* 83 percent increase in Likes
* 57 percent increase in link clicks

> Suffice to say, Instant Articles had our attention.

> Facebook says that Instant Articles are not favored in the News Feed ranking.

> Facebook for Developers explains: Instant Articles are ranked in News Feed by the same criteria that we use to rank standard articles on the mobile web. News Feed ranks stories based on a number of factors, including the amount people interact with them and how much time people spend reading them.

> However, Facebook has also stated that Instant Articles receive 20 percent more clicks and 30 percent more shares than other links.

> Additionally, Facebook says that people are 70 percent less likely to abandon an article because theyre not stuck waiting for it to load.

Anyway, what I'm planning to do is create some tests with mobile content publishing and social traffic generation -- This is for a new fintech-related product that I intend to promote as an affiliate; and

I've done market research, have identified my ideal customer profile, found out that my top competitors are doing really well with social traffic, and also created a WP site for this (sorry, but I can't share my site for this because I wouldn't want to expose my niche for everyone to see and compete against me) ...

Thanks for your time. Looking forward to an interesting discussion about this ...
