In this Tutorial I am showing you guys how to get more views on youtube by ranking your videos very high in the youtube search engine.
Youtube is after google the 2nd largest search engine in the world and since people love video content who have the chance to increase your revenue dramatically just by ranking a few videos on the top pages of youtube.

How To Find Highly Profitable Keywords
Many people have problems finding the right keywords to rank for. Just because a keyword has many search results doesnt mean it is actually profitable.
Since most people want to use Youtube to increase website traffic we need to find keywords that people are searching for who could be interested in what you are offering. It doesnt matter if it is a service, a tutorial or just a random video.
Lets say you are in the health niche and you made a tutorial on how to get rid of achne.
In this case you would want to find a keyword that people type in if they have achne and want to get rid of it.
Youtube is not like google where you have the keywords planner that assists you with this. But there is a very fast way to see what people are searching for.
Just go to youtube and start typing in the beginning lettters of the keyword you think it will be the best to rank for.
You will see that youtube will automatically show you the best results by automatically adding them at the back of what you have typed in.
Finding a good main keyword
Finding a good secondary Keyword
The firs keyword that is popping up is the most searched for and if you make your video rank for this you will receive most of the traffic in your niche.
In our acne case the best keyword would be how to get rid of acne. There is also get rid of acne but this is more competitive and research has showen that people are more into how to videos when they are facing a problem + it is a long tail keyword which makes it even easier to rank for.
Also note that once you rank for one keyword the chances are very high that you will automatically rank for the others too. Which will bring us to the second part of this tutorial.
How To Optimize your Video To Outrank Your Competition
Unlike Google, Youtube is almost all about onpage SEO which means you will have to optimize your videso Title, Description and Tags in order to make the youtube SERPs catch our video and rank it high.
I am not saying you cant build backlinks to your video etc. but in this Tutorial we want to focus on ranking in youtubes internal search and I will cover ranking it on google in another article.
Actualyl this is the most crucial part when it comes to youtube ranking and many people underestimate the power of a good title and description.
We have had a lot of videos that ranked at the top within a few days simply because we reverse engineered the youtube algorithm and analysed our competition to see what they were doing to rank.
Here is an example on how you would do that for the acne video.
Step1: The Right Title
The perfect title usually consists of 3 parts.
The main keyword
A Secondary Keyword
An additional information
The main keyword in our case would of course be How To Get Rid Of Acne
The secondare keyword has to more specific and could be How to get rid of acne scars or how to get rid of acne overnight
Then we can add an additional info for exaple Tutorial or NEW 2016.
So our new title looks like this: How To Get Rid Of Acne How to get rid of acne scars Tutorial (you really have a quite a few options for the secondary keyword and the special info but alsways make sure to put your main keyword first)
Step 2: The Right Description
Now this is the trickiest part of youtube ranking nowadays. You will have to actually analyse your competition and reverse engineer what they are doing so you can outrank them.
There is no easy way to do this and there are not many tools out there that can do this for you. Fortunately we have developed a way to automate this process and I am showing you how to do it in my TubeMillionaire Course!
Please note that you will need this in order to rank cause nowadays competition is so hard that is almost impossible to rank without having these kind of descriptions in your videos.

Step 3: The Right Tags
The right tags are also very easy to find. Its basically the same as with the title. You just start typing in the keyword and take what youtube offers you.
In our example this would be:
how to get rid of acne
how to get rid of acne scars
how to get rid of acne overnight
how to get rid of acne fast
.
And so on! Be sure to keep reading to the end because I have a trick for you that makes your video show up in the related video sections which will drive massive traffic to your videos!
The Secret To Really Get Into The Top 3 For Your Keyword
Now here comes the tricky part. You wanna know what most people are doing wrong? They think its enough to just simply optimize their video, create good content and then wait for the ranking to happen.
This is a huge mistake!
In order to rank our video we need to send youtube some signals so it realizes that our video should get ranked on top.
And how do we do that? Yes! We send some high retention views and likes to our video. For a new video you should send around 2.5k views and 100 likes and once you see its ranking increase you can scale that up more and more.
Be careful with many youtube views providers online. Many of them promise views but then dont deliver. I prefer to use This Provider they always deliver fast and their views are only of the highest quality.
Other Important Signals that are important:
- Social Signals (Facebook likes, Twitter Retweets)
- Comments on your video (very important)
- Google+ Shares

This is probably the easiest part. Just keep track of your ranking and once it stops increasing start the whole 3rd step again and boost your video with views, likes and comments.
