How to reproduce INSANE traffic of previous FBads??
I run a small business that deals with fairly expensive hand-made clothing. Keep in mind most people buying this product already know what it is, and if you don't know what it is you probably aren't buying it.
We have ran ads here and there over the years but have never ever seen success like last month.
We ran a series of Facebook ads, all different, cobbled together and not really that great. I ran a clicks to website ad, and a few boosted posts with 15 dollars a day / 30 dollars a day budgets.
It TOOK OFF. I was seeing 600 visitors a day and I was getting at least 1200 dollars in sales a day for a whole week. Then it stopped. So I created an ad, it failed, created another and had similar success for a few days. Then it was gone.
I have been trying to recreate ad traffic and ctr like this for the past month now and clicks are EXPENSIVE and aren't converting at all. I have tried similar demographics, different demographics, better ads, split testing. I have to put 50 dollars+ a day to get 190 non converting visitors while before I was spending 15 and getting 600+. I am optimizing for my converting demographic (woman and a bunch of broad interests) and I am seeing as much as 1 dollar a click.
What in the world happened. I just can't figure it out. Is optimizing for conversions actually hurting me and I could be optimizing for clicks? Should I be focusing harder on boosted posts.
Can someone shed some light on this? If I could keep up what I was seeing I would be set!!!
