Can you find writing jobs on social networks? If so, how?

Answers including more than a simple "yes" would be strongly appreciated. Existing freelance platforms, such as Freelancer, Upwork, Guru, and other more or less known, are not the object of my interest right now. I would like to share what I have tried and discovered about the following ones. You say what you know and suggest.

LinkedIn

Had high hopes for this one, but it turned out to be a huge disappointment for me. Maybe, I didn't know how to use it properly. When I look for jobs, I had to use keyword "freelance copywriter/writer" + "remote." Send a couple of offers. Not a single response. There's some special feature on LN, I forgot how it's called for job opportunities. However, it is extremely locally oriented and therefore not of use for me.

Facebook

I heard there are some groups dedicated to writing. Yet, I have some doubts about them. What's a better thing to do? To create an individual account or join a group? If I'm going to move around FB as an individual writer, what's the best way to advertise? I'm skeptical about these groups. You need a group boss' permission to get it. Then, how clients order jobs? What's the distribution of potential jobs through these groups?

Twitter

Honestly, I don't have a clue how can you find a job as a writer on TW.

That's it. Now, if you know something and you're willing to share, please do so. Thx in advance.

Quit relying on others to find work for you, is my advice.

I've mentioned to you before that the very best thing you can do for your career is to start a website, hone your writing, start building a portfolio, learn marketing, etc.

The same thing goes for social media. Start your own FB page and learn to market yourself. Start your own YT channel and market it. Ditto for Twitter, LI, etc.

That's what I would focus on. I wouldn't abandon anything good I've got going but I would move quickly to having more independence.

Dunno Mark. I'm a 40-year-old freelancer. 99.99% of my clients come through freelance platforms. Launching a website. Not a problem. I have a content writer. My friends can help with the design. Or I can do some writing to get a proper design in return. Promoting my service, that's a problem.

I'm just like a microscopic drop in the endless ocean. I type "content writer" or "writer" or "ghostwriter" or "copywriter" in Google. There's no way I'm gonna pop up in a million years. I feel so "great" this time of the year. Here's one more reason for it. For what is worth, I'm really sorry, if you believe me that you wasted your time on a problem I obviously can't solve.
