250 Twitter Followers in 2 Days

Hey Warriors,

I recently started a new blog but was kind of worrying about how I would grow my associated Twitter. I knew that I could "boost" my Facebook page, but Twitter doesn't allow brand new users to advertise their profile.

Anyways, I managed to get 250 followers in 2 days really easily. Basically, I just followed other people in the niche. I followed people that Twitter suggested under "Who to Follow" (if they were in the same niche).

I also searched keywords and hashtags in my niche and followed people who showed up in the results. I am following 575 users, and have 251 followers. Roughly 1 follower for every person I followed.

I'm sure this isn't news to any of you, it may come off as a real newbie post, but I thought I'd share in case someone else got value out of it.

**Pro-Tip: Don't just follow everyone Twitter suggests. I did that at first and ended up accidentally following some pretty extreme political and religious groups by accident . It messed up all my "Who to Follow." I had to manually unfollow them afterwards, which took a little while haha.

    If you are wanting to get more followers is to go to a site that allows you to "follow for a follow". You can get heaps every day. And if you are not wanting to follow anyone, you can pay for credits and they simply follow you without you having to follow anyone in return. There are many great sites like this but my favorites that I've personally used in the past are the following:

      While getting heaps of followers is very important, I think it is a better tactic to get organic followers -- people who are really interested in reading what you post. I think that this will convert better.

      These like for likes tactics may not get you organic followers, although it helps in becoming more visible.

      Use relevant hashtags and engage with your followers to build a relationship.

    Start to building relationship with your followers with like, share their tweets.

    Always response to your followers who like and share your tweets.

    Say thanks. It's very important.

    create some lists for exclusive content source and share most popular content from the lists.

    People will willingly add you to there lists and you have get a chance more people reach.

    Always rremember Twitter marketing is all about relationship.

      Exactly, well said! Following others in your niche is one good way but all the above are other quality ways to get more followers.

      Although saying thanks to all followers and people who engage is good, if you have a large following it is hard to do all the time.

    Mass follow is one of the oldest tricks in the book! And it still works. Depending on the content of your page, you'll get some conversion of how many random people follow you back once you've followed them.

    My idea is: Post your username on your image profile and post any image with your username. You can go to free site that edit images or you can edit via your mobile. Use lots of hashtages. You will get more followers.

    Actually this is a very good post. Twitter is not as easy for the follow back method compared to 2010 because they slow down following and do alot of phone verifys, people say that after 3 they stop but I kept getting them, but kept verifying.

    Small tips like this are good to increase ratio to avoid having to follow to many people at once. I will be trying to use some of these myself, thanks.

    Use the advanced search option to find more people in your niche. Search by hastags and pick influencers in your niche and search for people engaging with them. Add the people that you find.

    You not only want targeted followers, but targeted followers who are currently active and engage.

    A good way to engage with your followers is to take the time to look at your new followers profiles before excepting them, (or as you except them) go through their profile and see if their pinned tweet is relatable to your niche. If it is, then re-tweet it.

    They will almost certainly appreciate it and will possibly reply. Then you are on your way to making a new connection.

    I'm not sure about buying followers if you plan on promoting genuine offers.

    Its cool to have a "bed" of followers, so people will assume you are legit but,

    I suggest you attach some content marketing to your social media profile and grow followers organically.
