How much time do you tweet per day?
If we take some statistics from Twitter we will quickly see that there is a correlation between a lot of tweet and a high number of followers. Its almost common sense. The more visibility you achieve through appearances on the timeline of your followers, the more likely you are to get a retuit, response, favorite or whatever it gives you access to new followers.
Some will now think: But is not quality more important than quantity? Lets see. Of course it matters but it is something that I will take for granted in this entry. So we will analyze about what is the amount of tweets per day and the results that can be achieved thanks to it. What is clear is if you combine quantity and quality you will always achieve better results.
Things that help you have visibility when tweeting without being tiring
I have been on Twitter for almost 6 years now and have launched more than 14K tweets. They are more than 9 tweets a day and even taking that into account, I still consider that I am not a user too active compared to others. Everything is relative. My data is as good or bad as anyones. Without statistics like the ones I mentioned above we can not draw any kind of conclusion from it.
Twitting in different time slots: If you have a wide and big audience, the most probably thing is that your followers came from different times zones, thats something you need to take into account when tweeting.
Change the title if you share the same content: when you launch several tweets a day (or re-launch an old entry) sharing eg the post you have recently taken, it may make sense to vary the title a little. It would always leave a margin of 3-4 hours between each new update. Thus, you avoid duplicating and arriving more than once at the same user.
Add photos to your tweets: adding photos to your tweets increases the retuits number. With this surely I do not tell you anything new. Visual content along with text creates variety that is pleasing to your followers because it allows you to process information visually.
Never directly promote content: repeat these words with me. I will never promote a new post on my blog with direct messages or with the help of automated bots. It is the worst way to promote your blog, website or portal because it is pure spam.
Tweet on average every 30 minutes is not an exaggerated amount. If you calculate the number per day you get about 48 tweets. If you see the figure in isolation may seem a lot but if you publish dosed and planned you get visibility without being tiring. Thats all the secret ...
What do you think about this advices? What is the frequency you keep on your tweets?
