Here's How To Grow Your Instagram Account Faster With The Right Hashtags

I thought I'd share some tips on growing your instagram account faster using hashtags.
Using this i've had 5000+ likes on pictures on an account with ~100 likes usually on the pictures. This doesn't happen all the time, but when it happens, you will get real organic followers from this. You can use this strategy to growth hack your accounts into high numbers faster.
The point of using hashtags under your pictures is to gain more exposure when users search for specific hashtags.
When you search for a hashtag, the first thing you see is the Top Posts section.
In this section there's 9 pictures that have received most engagement from users.
If they scroll down they will see the Recent Posts section, which are the most recent pics with that hashtag.
So there are two sections for posts - Top Posts and Recent Posts.
Recent Posts is something you will not want to focus on, since if the hashtag is popular enough, then your picture will be washed away from the top very fast. (Unless it's a hashtag with ~5k posts or less)
Top Posts is the section that gets your pictures more engagement and your account new followers. This is where you want to get featured.
If you have ever noticed that one of your posts had a way bigger amount of likes and comments than your other pics, then you probably got featured into the Top Posts section.
All the hashtags have their own Top Posts section. The more pictures the hashtag has (the more popular it is), the harder it is to get featured into the Top Posts section.
Let's say you look at #business.
It has 15 million posts. The top posts in this hashtag have ~5k likes in the first couple of hours. Can you get that? If not, then you cannot get into the top posts and you will not get all those visitors from that hashtag Top Post section.
When your account is still small, the trick is to target hashtags with lower amount of posts.
The lower amount of posts for the hashtag, the easier it is to get into the Top Posts section. And if people search for those hashtags, they will see your post!
This brings organic visitors to your account. This way you get more likes and more followers.
I like to put them in 2 categories:
Popular Hashtags
These tags have the highest amount of views you can get when you use those hashtags.
They also have the highest amount of pictures, which makes it very hard for you to rank for the Top Posts section.
These hashtags have 100k+ posts.
The next level would be Super Popular, 1 Million+ pictures per tag. If you do not already have super high engagement on your pics, you can forget about using these super popular ones for now.
Less Popular Hashtags
These tags have less views and also less pictures posted every day. This makes it easier for you to get exposure from those hashtags, also makes it easy for you to rank into Top Posts section for more exposure.
These hashtags have like 5k-75k pictures. No point to really use hashtags with 300 pics only.
So how do we get more posts into the Top Posts section?
1. Always use 30 hashtags
Some people might say it's spammy. But if you don't have 500k followers, then what's the problem? You are trying to grow your account right?
Hashtags bring you traffic to your pics and account. This traffic brings you real followers.
You can use maximum of 30 hashtags every picture, so make sure you use them.
Note: To make it look not so spammy, I use this one "trick":
When you post your picture, do not use any hashtags in the caption. Write your regular text or something about the picture.
The first comment is where you put the hashtags. You can put 30 hashtags into the first comment, after posting the pic. That way people will not see your hashtags.
2. Mix up your hashtags
Mix them up. You have 30 hashtags to use, so don't use only popular ones or less popular ones.
When your account doesn't get many likes (like only 100 per pic), then use mostly less popular hashtags. This will give you more engagement and new followers.
If you have a bigger account, use more popular hashtags.
If you have less than 10k Real Followers, then i'd use 20+ less popular hashtags and add some Popular Hashtags with lower numbers. That way when the pictures go into the Top Posts section of the less popular hashtags, they might actually end up in the More Popular hashtag Top Posts section.
This is where your pics randomly get 5000 likes and account gets hundreds or thousands of new followers.
To Sum It Up
Try to rank your pics into the Less Popular hashtags' Top Posts sections
Have a mindset of going from Less Popular top posts to More Popular top posts.
Tips
* If you start to get around 500 likes per picture, you should start to use more popular hashtags.
* If you use 1 less popular hashtag, you have a small chance of getting extra exposure from outside your own following.
* If you use 25 less popular hashtags, you will have 25x the chance of getting extra exposure.
* Check your engagement all the time. Right now it might be a good idea to use Less Popular hashtags, but know when to move on. Test and try. Take this as a game.
I am posting around 1 pic per hour on some of my accounts. That's 24 pictures per day. On 3 accounts. Just as a test. And it's giving me some really good results.
