Create fake Facebook account for Facebook Ads + Fan Page creation?

Together with another friend, we developed some kind of online service that we want to promote.

One of the promotional ways will be of course, the creation of a Fan page for the service, and using the Facebook Ads services.

We do not want to connect our own personal Facebook accounts neither to the Fan page or the Advertising account, inter-alia since we want both to have an access to these commercial functions.

Therefore, should I create a fake Facebook account in order to do the above? What do other guys, or entities like companies do?

    I would be careful about setting up a fake account. You never know it can be shut down for some reason in the future. I use my personal account to manage client pages. That's what I have always used. Not sure if there is another way to do it without using a personal account.

    Why you don't want to link your account, when you are setting a new fake account and heading for facebook ads then sometimes it would look suspicious to facebook and they can block you so its best to use a genuine account or create a new account with your name so that you can submit documents when needed.

    It's a business so setup a business profile which obviously wouldn't have anything to do with your personal profile. Look at the big brands on Facebook, the CEO doesn't use his personal Facebook profile.

    Really good idea about facebook marketing, I also apply your method but beware don't send friend request to fake fb Account.

    Yukon....so Facebook has no problem setting up a new FB account using your company info in place of your personal info?
