FB Groups - 400k+ subs

Hey guys,

Quick Question.

I have 4 FB Groups, one in "MMO niche", one in men's fashion niche, one in architecture niche and one in food recipes and health niche. I have built them up from scratch and in total spent over 12k of my money to keep them active and updated daily.

I don't know what to do with them? Anyone have any suggestions?

The MMO niche one has over 400k follows with a Post Reach Count of over 126k. The Men's Fashion over 300k subs with a Post Reach Count of 100k, the architecture group has 250k followers and the food group has around 20k.

I have never monetized them before. Anyone knows how to monetize an FB group and has had success is welcome to suggest ideas. I don't want comments from people who think they know a solution...Only those who have tried and succeeded at it please. I also don't want to spam my subs to death with irrelevant CPA offers. Anyone interested in taking on the task, or suggest what can be done with them please be my guest?

If there's no real LTV in a page that's doomed to not make you any money for investors or otherwise, why would you NOT spam them with offers?

I mean, you paid to build the page and you have every right to get your money back. Page post reach = 126k... If you get one quarter of 1 percent to give you $10 that = $3,150 per post.

If I were in your shoes, I would bombard them with offers that were at least CLOSE to the interests of that niche until I got all my money back. That makes the income from the other pages pure profit.

To take it a step further, I'd make my own products to ensure I'd get it done. But, you should look to be able to clearly distinguish the difference between MMO and no niche at all because at this point that seems to be a source of confusion for you?

Hi Wealthy 20, have you tried joining affliate programs? This way you could choose what you want to post according to your niche and make a % off any sales you make. Instead of spamming them with useless ads? Have you heard about Shareasale? You can also join Amazon Associates. Would you like me to expand?

Signed up for Shareasale to see what it the merchants there offer. It has a 48hr review for approval. I'll try it and let you know how it goes.

Has anybody had any experiences with mylikes and other alternatives like fans2cash and maxflow? Or are they bad?

There is engagement, yes...i get like 10-20% clicks of any post count reach. So forexample if I post something and it reaches 40k people, there is usually 10-20% that click on the link.

What? And you ask how to monetize them?

Here are things I have tried with success and you can do:
        1. Create blogs --if you haven't already-- on the same niche with your FB pages, publish posts in your FB page linking back to posts in your website. Add either a pop-up ad or a content locking ad and collect their emails. Sell them affiliate products and make a good commission.
        2. Add Adsense to the same blogs. In the example you mentioned above (4k-8k clicks from the FB with 40k followers), you can get 4k-8k ppl to your website daily. With a CTR of 1% this means 40 clicks. For the total of your 400k followers this means 400 clicks daily! Make the calculations and you'll see the number is HUGE!
        3. Create your own products and start selling them through the email list you will create. Creating a product is not that difficult. You can outsource everything and make a fortune as you will keep 100% of your profits.
        4. Promote affiliate products through direct links. But, in my experience, this should be your last option, and the one that will make you less money.

          Nice ideas, keep 'em coming.

The Architecture Group is mostly from India, Emirates, Egypt, Turkey. Any ideas on how to monetize ppl from these regions?

Unless you get a huge CTR, Adsense is not going to work. I've seen clicks from there paying me nothing.

Online courses usually work well with these ppl. Most of them are looking for a better job, or for a chance to migrate. Products that would help their professional development or provide them knowledge they can't find in their countries, usually sell well.

    Hi,

Just curious whether you have done any email marketing with your subscribers in the 4 FB groups?

I am asking this because the half life of FB post might be 30 minutes or so. Anything posted in the group might not be seen by all subscribers of the group.

Some seldom visit the group, some visit at different times of the day. And if your post is not pinned, it get pushed down the feed.

If you have not done so, you could get the FB group subscribers to opt-in to your email list.

Then you could do regular email marketing including monetizing in your emails. That the power of email marketing.

Of course you could start monetizing them directly by posting affiliate sales in your FB posts. Bear in mind too much of this kind of post from group admin will backfire in the end.

So I strongly recommend us email marketing to get engage further with your group members.

    Just my thoughts.

    Albert

I I agree with the last comment. I have a FB fan page with over 35000 fans and 8000 of them are subscribed to my email list and it is the list from which you can get traffic to your site and make money.

I agree with email marketing. You can join MailChimp it's the cheapest and you HDR the first 2,000 subscribers for free.

    Awesome guys,

I think I'm seeing a ways forward. If anybody wanna tackle the mostly Indian group or knows how, I can share with you privately. Give you even a cut of the revenue if you can prove to me that you've managed to do it previously with your other fanpages.

    Thanks.
