Big attendance for my event

I want to spend about $2500 on Facebook ads for my event page. Given the amount what would be your strategy.

a 50 miles radius around my event without targeting interests is 140,000 people and 150 mile radius is 300,000 people.

We have held two shows with attendance's of 2400 followed by 1400 (different times of the year)

At the very least i would like to bring in 2,000+ people.

I focused mostly on the raise event attendance the last two events. But perhaps it could be better spent with different strategies.

So lets here your best strategy? Might even send a nice tip if your strategy shows amazing results!

You already had 2,400 so what's the problem? Do the same thing you've already done.

well the second show had a big drop off. However there was another event the same weekend at the other convention center they said for the first time in 10 years their attendance was down 40%. So I don't know if it was just a fluke or time of year why ours was down.

Just want to hear strategies. I don't like to fall into the same routines without at least exploring new ones. There is always more efficient ways of doing things. We also run billboards and radio but feel facebook ads can be improved.

What exactly is the subject of the event?

Pet Expo (basically a trade show with animals & supplies)

That should be extremely easy to get traffic.

Why not advertise at local pet stores and/or target local pet store facebook traffic?

We do as well as targeting all the pet keywords. Just wondering if using a different method other than Raise event attendance would be a better option. The last even page had roughly 2500 interested 800 going.

But the nice part about getting them to the event page is that you can interact with them all the way up until the show
