ClickBank Hop Links & FB Ads

Hey guys....

I am trying to promote a click bank offer. The link contains the 'hop.clickbank.net'.

The offer itself violates absolutely nothing in FB's advertising policies.

Initially I launched the campaigns through AdEspresso and used google url shortener. Facebook approved the campaigns and everything was running great until I found out the goo.gl url stopped working. Google said the URL didn't follow its terms without any specific explanation.

So I paused all the campaigns.

This morning I hopped on live chat with FB support and told them. The support rep said everything looked fine and to try linking directly with the clickbank URL instead.

Meanwhile, ClickBank emailed me back saying to try a different tiny url service.

So I tried relaunching the campaigns with AdEspresso... With the Direct link & with a bit.ly link.

This time, Ad Espresso sent me back this message:
"Your campaign "RGA V [bzt]" has not been published, because of the following error from Facebook:

Your message couldn't be sent because it includes content that other people on Facebook have reported as abusive."

So I'm at a loss.

I have a great offer to promote and I went through the page with a fine tooth comb and nothing about it violates FB terms. Instead, it appears to be flagged simply because of the URL being clickbank 'hop link'.

What can I do to promote the offer? Mask my own domain name that links to the offer? What am I allowed to do that isn't against terms. FB doesnt seem to know.

Here is what ClickBank said, which basically seems like its a no go:

Thank you for your inquiry! Please review Googles Terms of Service for their specific rules around promotions and advertisements.

If they do not allow this type of promotion, there are a variety of other ways in which you may promote your HopLinks. Sometimes the issue is with an element such as an auto-play video on the vendors site. Some examples of how you might advertise affiliate HopLinks are through the use of search engine advertising, online banner ads, and email newsletters.

You can use Facebook but it has recently come to our attention that ClickBank HopLinks posted on Facebook are being affected due to negative ratings that have been posted on Web of Trust, which is used by Facebook. Unfortunately, these ratings, which in many cases are misinformed or inaccurate, negatively affect all of us in the ClickBank community.

To help improve ratings and get HopLinks working properly again on Facebook, we ask that you please take a few minutes to help counteract these misinformed statements on the Web of Trust website. This process is very quick and easy. Here's all you need to do:

Go to http://www.mywot.com
Create an account
Disagree with any bad comments regarding ClickBank that you do not believe are accurate
Agree with any good comments that you believe are accurate
Rate the sites themselves based upon your knowledge of our ongoing business practices
Make any appropriate comments regarding the company
To get HopLinks working again properly, the top priority is that you rate the domain clickbank.net. However, we ask that you also take a few moments to also rate clickbank.com and clkbank.com so customers know that ClickBank products are trustworthy and secure. Also, please note that if you are running paid Facebook ads, you can still send traffic to HopLinks by using a URL shortener such as tinyurl.com.

We appreciate your support, and thank you for helping ensure that Facebook remains a useful marketing channel for all of us.

Any advice is appreciated!

You could always forward a domain or subdomain that you host to your clickbank link. I.E. grab product name.info for 88 cents at namecheap, and then forward the domain to your URL. Then if your clickbank company goes down all you have to do is redirect that traffic to a similar offer.

If you built your website you can use the pretty link plug in to auto forward from your website to your offer.

Facebook does allow direct linking to your clickbank ads..but you must make sure the landing page has no autoplay videos OR exit pop ups
