Do you have to post ongoing content in order to keep getting Pinterest traffic?

I've posted a few graphics which link to articles on my site, and received some traffic, but that traffic flow only lasted a while, so does this mean I have to post new content all the time in order to keep the traffic flow coming in?

Should you post regularly, you do work in SEO, also want the related search volume you should also write the article, people will know your Website is still in daily operation.

it'll keep on pumping traffic better if that pin is in some popular group boards as well. Try to join few related ones and also post those pins there and of course keep coming up with new ones

one of my pins went quite viral like that bringing constant traffic between 1500 - 5500 uniques per day, now been like that about 6 months...now that article has close to 3 million views all thanks to pinterest.

naturally I add more pins all the time, but if you want to get real traffic from pinterest, you should focus on the topics that work well for pinterest, crafty stuff, tips, how to's, recipes, fashion etc.

Fresh content always brings fresh visitors, and stale content will constantly diminish.
