Got infographic, now what?

Hello all!
I am hoping I can get a little idea on what to do. I just got a nice infographic for my website, paid the seller, rated him well for the good job and downloaded the infographic in a JPG file.

What's next now? Do I just add it to my article and upload it there and make it pinnable by Pinterest? Will people sharing it then bring traffic to my website? Or am I missing some important steps? and how can I prevent people from stealing it?

Any help appreciated! thanks!

    Hi,

It's good that you did understand the importance of infographics. Here are the steps, you can try to reach more audience.
    1. Create a landing page and embed infographic in your website
    2. Below the infographic, explain the infographic in words of at least 1500 words
    3. Submit your infographic to directories like visual.ly
    4. Identify authors who are interested in republishing your infographic and email them with a custom short summary.
    5. Add options to embed/download your infographic. You can have a lead form if interested in generating leads from this.
    6. And of course, don't forget the share buttons

Hope this helps. Let me know this works for you.

You can start sharing your infographic on good sites like reddit, myspace and similar sites. The one reason is this that there is a possibility that you will get a lot of visitors to your website through that infographic if they find it effective and relevant to what they are looking for.

Spread your infographic as much as possible. Find out blogggers and authors who are interested in same topic and ready to publish your website. There are some infographics submission website so use that to submit your website.

Write a blog post and publish your infographic. Use pinterest, fb and other social media to share your infographic. Find out FB groups and pages on same niche and contact with the page/group admin and show them your inforgraphic and request them to share it with their members. Thanks :-)

• Depending on how your infographic is designed, you can actually "break it down" and create several social media posts from it or even a slideshow. That was you have more sharing options for a single infographic

You probably already have watermarked the infographics with your brand/website.

Bringing traffic from Infographic is not a easy job, yes it can be shareable on Pinterest and if it go viral, you can get traffic.

If you created infographic just to get traffic, bad move. If else, please share why did you create infographics and what is it?

    Thanks.
