Facebook page banned due to a fake copyright claim - any advice?

So I run a 300k page where we have had trouble with a rival page over the years. Yesterday though we got a 30 day ban from an email address claiming to own the copyright of one of our pictures. We investigated further and the email address was a fake and nothing to do with the company they claimed to represent.

Now how the hell do we go about reversing this as it seems near impossible to contact facebook. They do nothing to protect pages from these fake claims as far as I can see.

Has anyone here been through something similar? Or can you point me in the direction of a facebook contact/employee?

Thanks

Facebook support is very unresponsive towards pages, groups and other related things. unless you have a connection with someone inside it would be very tough to get a reply.

I once got mistakenly banned from placing new ads on Facebook. I just kept sending the same email or message to Facebook telling them about the mistake and my persistent finally paid off as they replied and agreed to remove the ban.

At least your ban appears to be only for 30 days and not indefinite.

If that does not work I would try sending a federal express package to Facebook headquarters with a letter explaining the situation addressed to anyone there who is in whatever department is responsible for regulating pages.
