Are Facebook users even in the mood to care about my product?

I thought about opening a FB page. I planned to give businesses advice about Internet Marketing and also promote my web design service. But on FB newsfeed there are so many random stuff: posts about music, funny videos, family and friends, fan pages and more.
My question: Are FB users going to care about web design service when they get so many random stuff on newsfeed?

  • Short answer is yes. If you have great content and you make use of FB ads and promoted content, Facebook is going to bring your page and its content to FB users who are looking for it.

You can't see it from your end because your feed has been curated by FB's algorithm to cater to your interests and likes. If your feed looks random, it means you have a wide variety of interests. But people who are interested in web design will see those posts on their feed.

Moreover in that way perhaps you may attract more attention of your audience to your product.

Target your advertising and it naturally should be relevant to the people seeing your ads.
