Huge retargeting cost on Facebook ($50 CPM)
I have a new ecommerce website and I was working on retargeting existing traffic... I had a small number of visitors captured by the pixel (about 50), and I created a conversion campaign to try and re-capture those leads...
So this morning I woke up and I was stunned that my reach was 30, and I spent almost $2 on it! I figure it's because the targeting audience is really small, but it's still a HUGE cost for the value.
I thought maybe creating a new campaign with a reach as objective, as it has the lowest CPM for FB ads... But I figured asking some of you more experienced in this field about it first.
Is this a normal CPM cost for retargeted audience?
How much do you approximately spend on CPM on retargeted custom audience?
Do you have any advice on lowering these retargeting costs?
