I want to start a business in Social Media Marketing or SEO SEM area. I want to focus on one topic, i love both topics. I like to offer a service. Which area is better ? Better outlook ? Better options to make money ?

    There is quite a few people in both markets. Right now there is a big spike in social media, especially Facebook, with many messaging bots being popular. There is a lot of services and teaching that could be used in that field.

    this totally depends on the nature of the niche & your patience level. If you don't have time to see the results then go for the paid advertisement on Social media & SEM, but if you want to build long-term business which can generate revenue on regular basis then go for organic social media & SEO.


    But I will suggest you first go for paid advertisements then go for SEO.

    I also think that social media is a great way to start. I always look for services in this area, as I like outsourcing and have no intention to do all the hard work myself.
    On the other hand: it's not all depends on what works best but also on what YOU really want to do.
    My offer: toss a coin. If you like the result - go for it. If you don't like it - than you should probably go for the other one, as both can be profitable.

    Digital Marketing is head term which includes both and for it to be successful both are essential.
    For the beginning you can start with SMM cause it is much user friendly because in that you do the same things that you do on your personal profile but at a more professional & corporate level. Additionally there are terms & conditions to be followed but if you have already studied it well than you can grasp it soon. Once done with this go for SEO & SEM. They both are quite vast topics & include many points in it. Study them well & then start with SEO & SEM.

    Both are good options. With the explosion of social media, FB would not be a bad place to start then expand into instagram, twitter, Pintrest or even Google+

    I would say social media is the most relevant, most business owners understand the value of social media marketing whereas SEO probably takes quite a bit more education and is a much more difficult service to provide and it's a long-term strategy. Social media can have a more immediate impact for business owners
