What I did is to develop good campaigns over time and did a lot of testing. So, I tested a lot of post types, some meant to:
- Grow engagement
- Get new email subscribers
- Sell affiliate products
Though all the methods I used were designed to bring value to the people and activate the social the audience and get me results, here are the top 3 that worked best for me:
1. Weekly contests - I give away 1 book, on Monday. The rules are to share the post and to click on the link that I share to finish the sign up process - there, they would be driven through a funnel which had 3 steps: email sign up, invitation to join a FB group and click on an affiliate link to check out the prize.
2. Image Quotes specific to my niche. Now this is quite a time consuming. I used to research 100 quotes and design them one by one. It was not a pleasure for more then one year, but I finally managed to build a team which does the designs (today, I help others as well - so if you need quotes, you can talk to one of my team members HERE).
The image quotes are awesome - I usually get 3k-5k in engagement per quote. However (sit down please) I once made it to... 1 Million users reached in less than one week! Crazy?! I got more than 1000 new fans in just a few days - and 100% organically - without spending a dime!
3. Question of the day - this is a successful campaign, the result of more than 1 year of testing. I simply open an excel file and squeeze my brains out for one hour, brain storming for question ideas. Of course, the questions are regarding my niche, not general questions. I then send the list to my designer and he puts all the questions on the same template (important) and saves each question. Then I schedule all of them. I usually have like 100 or more posts scheduled.
Final thought: after you test new campaigns that work, think long term and prepare everything so you can have 1-3 months of posts. I have more ideas that I have tried and worked over time - I will post more if these information are useful to you. Sharing is caring!
