Anyone Got any Patreon Tips?
Hi all,
Does anyone have any tips for monetising their business using Patreon?
I think it would be a great way for me to monetize my existing sites. They already get traffic and I have had some great feedback from users (some of who say I should charge).
I've seen some of the people I follow on FB use Patreon (mostly instagram models lol) but it would also work very in my niches because with some investment I could use superior paid for services and advertise my sites more (which would benefit existing subscribers as well).
What is the best way of using it? Should I set some targets (e.g. if I make $100 a month I will add X feature to the site)? Or should I put in different membership levels and reward $5, $10 and $20 a month subscribers with stuff?
Does anyone know what the typical churn rate is (i.e. existing Patrons leaving vs new joiners)?
And what is the maximum minimum monthly subscription I could charge for basically just supporting my site? I've seen said models start at $1 a month.
Finally, while I'm here could I make a Patreon offer and turn it into a WSO?
