Gaining Facebook Page Likes With Ads?

Hi guys

Bit of a delayed post here, but since Facebook removed the page likes objective from ads, what is the best way to grow a Facebook page's likes specifically through ads?

As it stands, I'm running ads under the brand awareness objective. Is there another format which could result in more likes being achieved?

    They didn't remove them they just moved them under engagement. I would recommend you find a viral video and run ads and then everyone who likes the video you can invite them to like your page. We have been having real good luck with this

    Here's an easy way to gain new page likes when running an ad.

    Like @smartsites said, choose the page likes option under engagement. Then, in the ad text give away a free tip related to your niche. The character count is short so be creative! Then put "Like our page for more ideas" at the end. Use the free photo search engine to find a photo that relates to your tip.

    This works wonders for getting page likes because if people like your free tip, they'll want to get more and like your page!

    Here is an example format you can use:

    EXERCISE TIP! Lowering weights for 2-4 sec. builds more muscle. Like us for more ideas!

    EXERCISE TIP! You need 1.5 grams of protein per lb. to gain mass. Like us for more ideas!

    EXERCISE TIP! 1 compound move makes up for 2 isolation moves. Like us for more ideas!
