How to avoid beeing blocked in facebook for a lot of "add person as friend"?

I think there must be a time interval?
Does the counter reset every hour?
Like if you add max. 5 friends per hour, you won't be blocked for few days.

    Just buy a load of proxies and login from different IP addresses on different accounts. Can add as many of them as you like then. Doesn't scale very well though. Then you get into the world of botting.
