Ok, I have a brand new sales funnel. This time i'm trying to work my butt off getting FREE traffic. So far I've made an Instagram account and I uploaded pictures relevant to my niche, I also followed a bunch of targeted people. I also did the same exact thing with twitter. My main goal is to get people to click my website link in my bio/twitter page. Will this work if I keep following people in that are in the same niche as I am in?

You have to be able to provide value. What gets more followers and more click thrus is the content you provide them. If its relevant to your niche then cool. Have several CTAs to let them know how to claim whatever you're trying to offer.

yes very true, I'm definitely going to be providing them with value. I just started yesterday and I already got a lead.. I know its not that big of a deal but I was actually happy to see that. Just because it looks like there may be some potential with this strategy. and the best part was it was a free lead

Free traffic is cool but it is hard work...especially if you're just beginning. The platforms you mentioned are great for driving traffic, you have to be consistent in what you do. Give people a reason to see what you have to say in your statuses. Don't just post offers.

Just like the previous person said, provide good value and content. Continue to make connections and reach out to people and ask them for help. That way your connections seem genuine and you can nurture that relationship.

@Freedom4rmUrJob pretty much nailed it. People like to interact with humans, not bots. Thank followers, post relevant comments on others posts, and keep finding new people to follow (likely people that follow/engage an influencer in your space).

You also need to be consistent, which can be a lot of work if you're not using some tool.

Increasing your social media traffic happens when you engage and build relationships on each network. Find a relevant person to follow, and then dig into his or her lists. You'll likely find a goldmine of engaging people to follow who will hopefully follow you back.

To get your social media traffic rolling, follow these six steps to get people to your social channels and ultimately to your website:

    1. Inspire Your Audience With Visuals
    2. Make Your Content Easily Shareable
    3. Improve Your SEO
    4. Know When Your Audience Is Listening
    5. Research Your Competitors
    6. Continuously Engage With Your Audience

Sharing your content multiple times on social media can trigger strong reactions.

Engage with the type of audience that you'd like signing up for your list.

This can be following, Retweeting, mentioning them in a Tweet, adding them to a list, liking their Tweets, or replying to their Tweets.

If you have good stuff on your account, are consistent, and engage with other users, your audience will find your account and follow it.

You can also use this exact strategy for all other social media platforms as well, not just Twitter.
