Banned from Facebook, now what?

Hey guys!

To keep this short, I was banned from Facebook ads about 2 months ago for using a fake profile to make ads, stupid, I know. It was my naive attempt at simply separating my business activities from my personal ones.

Now, after many appeals, it seems that I'll never be unbanned.

Doing internet marketing without ads on either Facebook OR Instagram has proven to be really difficult, because every course I've learned and see online is fundamentally driven with Facebook ads. Also, seeing that Instagram ads are starting to become really effective, its especially painful to see extremely successful ads being run on these platforms while I just watch from the sidelines.

To those of you who found effective alternatives to Facebook ads, what is it you've done? I really wish I could use the vast user base and target-ability of Facebook, but I don't think I can.

Any help is much appreciated! Thanks!

Facebook is very strict about spamming. It's near to impossible to recover your old account. I am sorry, but you will have to start from the beginning now. Please limit your posts to avoid spamming.

I am sorry to say, but if you are doing spam work, then you are banned. Nowadays Facebook study fake ids and ban these.

Thanks for the comments guys. Just wondering why everyone assumed I was spamming? It was going to be ads for an e-commerce website I've made, I never mentioned anything about spam.

I believe your only option is to use your real info as FB can ask for a ID to prove its you

FaceBook never said you must use ads on your own account only. I mean, find someone who has an account in good standing with FaceBook and have them run your ads through their account. Make them 0.001% owner and it will be true when they say they're one of the owners of the business. Make them CEO, and it will be true when they say they're the CEO.

  • This is why I hate Facebook. You don't know what pleases them. I also have that issue, I created an account for business purposes. My fault is I created a fake name because I don't want people to see what I'm up to. I got banned one day and then created a few other accounts. Those accounts did not even last 10 minutes and it also got suspended. I sent an appeal and sent my ID but no response. I even have some money ad funds in it.

The lesson: Please the platform. but seriously, if only social media marketing is not a thing, I'll stay away from headaches.

Actually, you do know what pleases them. It's spelled out in their TO's.
You don't want them to ban you, don't do what they say they don't like. Like creating fake accounts, for Pete's sake!

      • No beef.

But I agree. That's also one of my mistake. Lesson learned.

I see this response often. But I do not understand the rational. Your personal profile never shows up in your ads or business page to the public. You can keep your personal life as private as you wish.

Facebook has some strict rules. If you can not follow these rules you will ban.
Facebook wants your real information. If you use fake then you may ban by Facebook.
You can try another account because it is not easy to get back your account.
    Thanks.

That is true. I heard the information on your credit card must match your profile, which can be the tough part. Thanks for the reply!

You need to open a new account.
I suggest you clear the cookies on your computer. Then open a new email account using a proxy IP.
You can then open a new facebook account using this new email via the proxy IP.
Also remember that for phone verification you should use a phone number you have not used for facebook previously .

Another option is to buy an already existing phone verified facebook account.

Goodluck and be more careful now.

I love these 2 way cool things called blogging and list building C

Having some fun with ya , but really, building a blog, and sharing value, and building an email list thru which I promote my blog posts, eBooks, courses and services has helped me build a rocking business.

Facebook Ads? Not so much. I mean they can rock, but for me, moving from just trying to advertise toward creating value and developing my content creating and writing skills did wonders for my online businesses.

I think this is great advice Ryan, I was thinking about getting into that avenue. Theres no real value in creating a drop shipping business, and its hard to pretend like I give a damn about the products I'm selling. In fact, I find the niche and people in it a bit irritating, lol. I'm going to start writing about something I'm passionate and very knowledgable about. But of course I won't say what

Facebook bans you if you violate their rules. It can easily detect spam. Create a new account with different email id and phone number.

Your FB account could be terminated due to 3 reasons

    1. Not complying with rules and regulations
    2. Duplicate account
    3. Account being inactive for a longer period

If that is their policy - none can help!!

Nowadays you'll need some serious Facebook account farming skills, it's easy to get banned by simply creating a new account.

If by simply creating a new account you mean creating a second account, it's true, they'll ban you. Because when you created the first one you agreed not to create additional accounts.

FaceBook wants one account per person. It's their game, they make the rules. You want to play their game? Play by their rules.

You don't like that? Find a game whose rules you like. Or create your own.

Stop complaining that FaceBook banned you after you broker their rules.
