YouTube Adsense Really Low

Anyone know why my Adsense could still be so low compared to others. My Adsense is significantly less than ~$1 per 1000 views. I just want some clarity. Contacted YouTube and they have said ads are running on all my videos. My content is very clean and advertiser friendly. My channel is an entertainment based one with 50k+ subs. Any suggestions or ideas?

Well most of the niches do not have enough advertisers to compete against each other and thus the creator gets less cpc.
